Meet Our Staff
 David & Bobbi Clear - Lead PastorsDavid has been involved in Christian ministry since 1982, and as pastoral staff for more than 15 years. He assumed the senior pastorate of Covenant in May, 2003 following the death of his father and former lead pastor Norman Clear. David has a Bachelor’s degree in theology from Christian Life School of Theology, based in Columbus, Georgia. As music minister at Covenant for many years, David has a passion to lead people into dynamic praise and worship and encounter the life-changing presence of God. His preaching communicates practical and relevant truths designed to empower and equip Christians of all ages to live victorious lives. Formerly a newspaper reporter, David has won state and national newspaper awards for writing and photography. Bobbi has a passion to see women reach their potential in Christ. She leads the Women’s Ministries at the church, and enjoys speaking at women’s conferences and events. She believes strongly that God’s Word holds the answers to all of life’s problems, and she actively encourages her listeners to live a life of faith in God. David and Bobbi have three children, and enjoy tennis, biking, horseback riding and most outdoor activities. E-mail Pastor Clear |
 Brett &Diane Hartley - Associate PastorsPastor Brett is the Associate Pastor and Principal and Administrator of CCA (Covenant Christian Academy), our school here at CCC. Brett also has many other duties associated with the day to day workings of a dynamic church on the move. Pastor Brett and his wife, Diane, are Bible Study Leaders. They have three children.  Bobbi Clear - Women's MinistryBobbi Clear and her husband, David, serve as the Senior Pastors. Bobbi's passion is to communicate the life-transforming principles of God’s Word. She has a strong desire to see women come into wholeness by discovering who they are in Christ and experiencing God’s unconditional love. Bobbi and her husband, David, have three children.

 Peggy Clear - Volunteer CoordinatorPeggy Clear and her husband, Norman, served as Senior Pastors of Covenant Christian Church for 38 years, beginning in 1965. Peggy led worship for many years, and has been one of the primary intercessors for the church and community. She currently overseas the Missions and Volunteer Ministries departments. She continues to have a passion for prayer and to see God move in fresh revival. |
 Pepper Braun- Beacon Institute Dean & Tape Ministry CoordinatorErmina "Pepper" Braun serves as Dean of Students of Beacon Institute of Ministry, a weekend bible college for adults, as well as oversees the CD duplicating library for the church. She has a passion to see people grow in their walk with God. She and her husband enjoy working in their yard during their spare time. |
Founding Pastors
 Norman and Peggy Clear - Founding Pastors Norman, pastor of CCC from its beginning (1965) to 2003 had a passion to build a dynamic church for the Lord that confronts the postmodern generation with the power of the gospel. His vision continues today. Norman graduated from L.I.F.E. Bible College in Los Angeles, CA. Peggy Clear is Missions Coordinator, single mom ministry leader. She has two children and six grandchildren. |
