Teachers

Kindergarten (K4&K5) Keri Byers
I am very excited and passionate about this upcoming school year at CCA.
This will be my fifth year here of teaching our K4-K5 Kindergarten class and it will be a fruitful and blessed year. It is a true joy to teach, encourage and enrich the belief of Jesus Christ in young childrens lives in an educational and Christian environment.

Grades 1-2 Doug Radliff
I have taught at Covenant Christian Academy for two years, and I have taught in other public and private schools for over twenty two years. My interests are music, running and gardening. I have a Bacholer's degree in Secondary Education in P.E. and health and a Master's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in the Bible.

Grades 3-4 Janette Harrington
With a Bachelor's in English/Ed and a Master's in Special Ed, I've been teaching since 1975 in public school, church, and home school settings. My husband and I have two young-adult children, who we raised in the off-grid home we built near Mt. Hood National Forest. My desire for my third and fourth graders is that they grow and excel, not only educationally, but personally, and in their relationship with and understanding of God. It's exciting that, here at CCA, I can freely pursue that goal.

Grades 5-6 Kathleen E. Lyda

This is my third year as fifth and sixth grade teacher at Covenant Christian Academy. I have been involved in structured education of children for thirty-seven years while also home schooling two children, one through freshman year high school and one to college age. I have been associated with CCA since its beginning in 1997. Along with the dedicated staff at CCA, I am confident your children can realize their full potential.

Grades 7-8 Lisa Albrecht
I am a 2007 Master's Graduate of Eastern Oregon university and this is my first year of teaching at CCA. I 've been married to Scott for almost 18 years and we have a daugther who is 12 and a 10 year old son. I love reading, softball, spending time with my family and quilting. I am looking forward to a great year.

Teachers Aids

Kindergarten (K4&K5) Sara Pickett
I have been on staff at CCA since January 2004 with the K4-K5 class. It is our joy to serve Jesus Christ in this way. I am married to Paul and have 2 children, Isaac and Annabeth. Our home is in The Dalles, Oregon. We attend Calvary Bapist Church. I like being a wife and mom, race walking, jewlery making and crafts, friendships and serving the Lord, living each day to the fullest.

P.E. Instructor & Classroom Aid Tarita Johnson
I am a wife and mother of 4 and a grandmother of 2. My involvement with Covenant Christian Academy started in September of 2005 as a volunteer art Instructor and classroom aid. In 2006 I became the P.E. instructor as well as the 3rd. and 4th. grade aid. I am very excited to come back this upcoming year.

Support Staff

Diane Hartley School Bookkepper
This is my 11th. year here at Covenant Christian Academy as the bookkeeper. I am married to Brett Hartley , the Administrator. We have three children who have all gone through Covenant Christian Academy.

Lori Ann Bartells 1-2 Grade Aid
My husband is Steve the Safeway guy. I have two boys, Steven and David and five stepchildren. I love all kids animals and books. I am very blessed to be here at Covenant Christian Academy.

Library Coodinator Robin Haight
I have been helping with Covenant Christian Academy library for 3 years. I am a certified science teacher, I love helping children learn, and I love children's and young adults literature. My two oldest children are attending CCA and I'm so glad to be able to help out at the school. Stop by and checkout our library.

Chapel Speaker 5-8 Grade Carlin Sweet
I have been involved in youth ministry for several years and am currently the full-time Youth Pastor at Covenant Christian. I encourage the students not to take this time in school for granted. I keep thinking how cool it would have been if I could've had a rockin' chapel service when I was going to school.
