What is a service at Covenant like? The services at Covenant have been designed with you in mind. You'll encounter a wide variety of worship music styles each week that you can relate to. The worship band will lead you in modern, upbeat songs of celebration as well as more intimate songs of worship. Song lyrics are projected on two screens so you can have your hands free, look up and engage in worship wholeheartedly. We also offer bible teaching that is relevant to the issues you face in life, plus programs for children of all ages. If you need someone to talk or pray with you, our trained Ministry Team and Pastoral Staff are available to pray with you after each service.
What denomination are you? Covenant is a non-denominational church in membership with Grace International, a world-wide fellowship of churches and ministries. Grace International began in 1934 with one church pastored by a visionary leader who sent hundreds of men and women into the ministry. Now, Grace International churches are in 40 nations, with headquarters in Houston, Texas.
What if I come from a different faith background? While Covenant is associated with Grace International, a Pentecostal organization, people who attend come from a wide variety of faith backgrounds. Together, we focus on biblical truth and teachings, and pursuing an active relationship with Jesus Christ. You don't have to be a member of a specific religious denomination to do that.
How long are your services? Services at Covenant are approximately 75 to 90 minutes long, and start promptly at the given service time.
What do I wear? At Covenant, you'll see people everything from jeans to suits and dresses. You are our guest, so please feel free to dress casual.
What do you have for children? We have programs for children of all ages. You are always welcome to keep your children in service with you, but we highly encourage our guests to take advantage of the fun, safe and exciting programs we offer for your children. Please visit our Children’s Ministry page.
What do you have for teenagers? Youth services are on Wednesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. For more on what we offer teens, please visit our Youth Ministry page.
How do people at Covenant express worship? “Worship” involves communication with God from our hearts. We believe in a variety of different expressions in worshiping God. On the stage, you might see worship leaders clapping or raising their hands while they sing and the musicians playing various instruments. As a Covenant attendee, you are welcome to worship God in a way you feel expresses your heart toward Him. For some, that's quietly reflecting on the words and, for others, that's clapping and singing out.
What if I have more questions when I get there? Our ushers, greeters and staff will gladly assist you in answering any questions you have.

During The Service
Worship
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship teams lead us in modern, upbeat songs of celebration, as well as more intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way. For many, that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Offering Each week Covenant receives an offering. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Covenant the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
The message (sermon) Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.
Communion The first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.
After The Service
Visit the coffee area
Coffee and refreshments are served after the morning services in the southeast corner of the sanctuary. This is a time to meet someone new or enjoy a chat with an old friend.
Pick up your children Make sure that you have the security tags that nursery and children's workers gave you when you dropped your kids off so that we can ensure your children's safety.
