We are passionate about showing God’s love in practical ways. Whether it is in our own neighborhood or across the globe, we can tangibly express God’s love for humanity through our outreach projects, mission trips and financial support.
At Covenant we’re committed to serving our community and demonstrating God’s love through practical acts of kindness. This year already we’ve helped clean the HAVEN house, picked up trash near Thompson park, helped spread bark chips at Sorosis park, served the homeless through Community Meals and many other services.
Each quarter every G2 group picks a different service project and carries it out. These are great times of ministering to our community and growing together as a church family.
To get involved contact our pastor of small groups, Bobbi Clear, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Covenant also financially supports local ministries such as A.C.T.S., (Acclaiming Christ Through Sports).
"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end."
Covenant firmly believes we are to be a part of reaching the nations of the world for Christ. That’s why we’ve partnered with Grace International Ministries to support missionaries in 12 countries of the world. In our sanctuary hangs the flags of the countries we support. They hang as a reminder of our financial commitment as well as prayer.
Covenant sends a minimum of 10 percent of its income to finance overseas and national missions. Our giving supports pastors, starts schools, finances orphanages, provides clean drinking water, and a host of other ministries. We also look for special projects that God seems to lead us to – like the church we helped build in Uganda, Africa that had been destroyed by a storm.
