Mark 6:1-56 NIV
Keep on Rowing
After choosing his disciples Jesus went to his hometown, but they did not accept him as Messiah. Then later he sent out the twelve to heal the sick and help those who were bound. Then soon after Jesus finds out that his cousin John the Baptist is killed by Hearod.  Following this Jesus and his disciples end up feeding the 5,000 plus people. Exhausted Jesus sends his disciples to go ahead of him in a boat. While doing this they find themselves in trouble in the middle of the sea.

So here is the main message today. Just like the disciples who found themselves rowing against the wind, and yet they kept going no matter what. We may be faced with all kinds of things in our life, but we must keep rowing forward and as we do Jesus will help us through anything and everything!
The Disciple never quit rowing, they kept going.  God sets us on our course  and at times it's difficult, but we must keep rowing till we get to the destination God has for us!
