The Christian life is a life of gradual but steady transformation from the inside out. As we cooperate with God and our transformation progresses, we think, talk, and act more amd more like Jesus!
When we see what nature does with the "caterpillar to butterfly" metamorphosis, we get a piture of what God desires to do in the life of every believer. Transformation is our destiny. Only the "transformed" life the new man can fulfill God's purposes, bear fruit, and reflect God's glory. We have a role in our own transformation. We cannot do God's part, He will not do our part!
