In the first seven chapters of the book of 2 Chronicles we find the seven steps to a heart of worship. 1. A lavish Offering 2 Chronicles 1:6. 2. Solomon built a new altar 2 Chronicles 4:1 37’X37’X18’. 3. Solomon expanded his heart and made a more lavish offering: 2 Chronicles 5:6. He made an offering that could not be counted or numbered. 4. Solomon moved into the inner court and built a personal altar. 5. God answered with revival fire that came down from heaven: 2 Chronicles 7:1. 6. Solomon offered 22,000 bulls and 120,000 sheep 2 Chronicles 7:4-5: Another lavish offering. 7. 2 Chronicles 7:7 The entire middle court was dedicated as the altar because the bronze altar that Solomon made was not big enough.
