John 14:6 NIV
Knowing God As Father

Sunday’s message reminded us that through Jesus, we are invited into a real and intimate relationship with God as our Father, not as distant followers but as His beloved children. Scripture showed us that the Father is perfect, tender, and compassionate, meeting us with love rather than fear—“The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate” (Psalm 103:13). We learned that God delights in us, rescues us, and calls us His own, confirming our identity through the Holy Spirit, who whispers, “You are God’s beloved child!” (Romans 8:15–16). The sermon emphasized that our Father knows our needs, gives good gifts, and invites us to live confidently in His acceptance. As children of God, we are called to rest in His love and walk in the freedom of being fully adopted into His family.
