Psalm 90:12 NIV
Redeeming Your Time

This Sunday morning’s message centered on the call to redeem your time—to live wisely, intentionally, and in alignment with God’s will. Drawing from Psalm 90:12 and Ephesians 5:15–17, the message emphasized that life is brief and the days are spiritually challenging, so believers must walk carefully and purposefully. Three core practices were highlighted: focusing on God’s assignment for your life, as modeled by Jesus and echoed by Paul (“I have finished the work you gave me to do…” ); avoiding the tyranny of the urgent, following Jesus’ example of seeking solitude and prayer for direction (“Jesus got up… and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” ); and budgeting time wisely by prioritizing what matters most, planning ahead, and recognizing time‑wasters. Altogether, the message challenged adults to steward their days with clarity, discipline, and spiritual focus so they can fulfill God’s purpose with confidence and joy.
