The Resurrection story of Jesus is surrounded by numerous witnesses of that day, that had encounters with the risen Christ. Today I want to talk about three people Jesus appeared to after His resurrection. First there is Mary. She represents everyone who is heart broken. Then our second person is Thomas, known as doubting Thomas. he represents everyone who is doubting God's reality and goodness. Our third person then is Peter, who denied knowing Jesus three times and then the rooster crowed. Peter represents everyone who has experienced a personal failure. Peter learned that his failure did not have to define his future!
