A personal testimony is a spoken or written account of how you met Jesus Christ and how he has changed your life. There are three parts to your testimony. First how my life was before Christ! Second how I placed my faith in Christ. And Third my like after meeting Christ and how he has changed my life.
The bible encourages us to share our personal testimonies, because the power of a testimony is a very powerful thing to speak to others about what Jesus has done for us! The Bible is full of personal testimonies, like a man that was born blind. A women at the well, who because of her testimony was instrumental in leading others to Christ. The Benefits of sharing your testimony is, that your testimony is unique. It encourages the faith of others. It also encourages your own faith. It’s also hard to dispute. People love personal stories, and they remember them.
