Spirit of offense. Offense is a well thought out strategic trap of the enemy to defeat you and to nulify your effectiveness in the kingdom of God. We need to remember that we are in an unseen war fighting unseen enemies.

2 Corinthians 10: 4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
The primary weapons we are given as belivers is to defeat the enemy, by taking his strongholds down. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Proverbs 4:23 NIV.
