Relational purity is essential to effective prayer. If you know a relationship is fractured and you can bring reconciliation, do it even if you weren't at fault. Unforgiveness is a major hindrance to prayer. The only prayer God will answer is when there's unforgiveness in your heart is, God help me to firgive. God will not partner with hypocrisy. Answered prayers are God's way of partnering with us to accomplish his will. Forgiveness is not optional. Sometimes only God can help you do it.

Be specific in confession. Bless them in prayer, pray that God draws them close to him. Keep short accounts, don't let bitterness grow.
