This week’s message reminded us that God invites His people to draw near to Him with confidence, knowing that Jesus—our compassionate High Priest—understands our weaknesses and welcomes us into His presence. Scripture calls us to approach God with thanksgiving, praise, and a wholehearted desire to worship Him “in spirit and in truth,” as Jesus taught the Samaritan woman. We were challenged to lay aside fear, pride, and reserved temperaments so we can worship with our whole being and pursue a deeper closeness with the Lord. Ultimately, the sermon emphasized cultivating a lifelong passion for God’s presence, echoing David’s cry to “dwell in the house of the Lord… and gaze on His beauty.”
