Luke 15:11-13 NIV
Knowing God As Father

Today’s message explored the heart of the Father through the story of the prodigal son, showing how God allows us to choose our path—even when those choices lead to brokenness and famine of the soul. We saw that true repentance is more than regret; it is a change of mind that leads to a change of behavior, just as the son “got up and went to his father.” The sermon reminded us that repentance requires humility and a contrite heart, the kind God never despises. We celebrated the compassion of the Father who runs toward His returning children, covering them with honor, restoring their identity, and welcoming them with joy. Finally, we were challenged to choose life, walk in transformation, and live as sons and daughters who reflect the grace we have received.
