Today is part two of The Blessings of Communion. There are six aspects of Communion. First, it is historical. As far back as when the Jews were in Egypt and they celebrated the first Passover. Then It's a time of remembrance. Jesus said, "Do this in remembrance of me." Third, It Celebrates a new Covenant. Jesus said, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood." Forth, It's a proclamation. We proclaim the Lord's death, till he comes. Fifth, It creates anticipation. We remember the Lord, till he come back for us! And sixth, It's a time of Thanksgiving for what God, and Jesus has done, and will do in the future!
