To honor means to esteem and treat another with respect because of who they are and what they have done; to consider them precious and valuable. The culture of our church should be one of honor, as we outdo one another in honor. True honor then brings rewards.
God commands us to honor certain people and positions: God, Parents, Civil Authorities, Church Leaders, The Elderly, The Widows, A husband is to honor his wife, and All People!
