There are benefits of following Christ, 1. He forgives all my sin. When Jesus forgives us he removes our sin from us. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1. 2. He heals all my diseases. I am the Lord, who heals you. Exodus 16:26 NIV. Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.
