The Benefits Of God's Word

Today is part two of: "The benefits of God's Word'. There are six benefits of internalizing God's Word. 1. The Bible feeds your spirit. 2. The Bible guides your steps. 3. The Bible brings health to your body. 4. The Bible guards you against temptation. 5. The Bible brings you success. 6. The Bible reveals the true condition of your heart. 

The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked.  Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives.  I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve. Jeremiah 17:9-10 NLT.

For the Word of God is alive and powerful.  It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.  It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
