The Blessings Of Coming To The Feet Of Jesus

Three attitudes necessary to come to the feet of Jesus. 1. Humility, We need to be careful as belivers that pride doesn't keep us from the feet of Jesus. The heart of the believer is to exalt Jesus! I Peter 5:6, Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.  2. A teachable spirit. A disciple is a learner or student who follows the teachings of a Master or Mentor.  A disciple of Jesus is one who embraces the teaching of the Bible and allows it to shape and form every part of his or her beliefs and values.
3. Reverence and Respect. The definition for this is, the fear of the Lord. But this fear is not a terrifying fear, but a fear of reverence and respect. Awe of God's greatness!
