Today is part 8 of The Fruit of the Spirit - Self Control. Love and self-control are the bookends of the furits. All the fruit comes out of Love, but they are held in place by Self-Control. Self Control is a divine gift of the Holy Spirit that helps resist temptation, master desires and align actions with God's word. It enables us to make the choice to say "yes" to God and "no" to sin. We need to Fall In Love and Stay Close To Jesus. Keep in Step and Walk With the Spirit. Many times we want to walk with Jesus, but we are out of step with the Holy Spirit.
